This  top and has a UV shield and can be used as a thermal layer. 8 oz Evotherm frabic with flatlock durable seam construction provides maximum protection against wetsuit rubs, rashes as well as keeping you warm. Thumb loops to keep in place when worn under a wetsuit, in fact this top makes putting your wetsuit on easier.  It is also great worn by itself when a wetsuit is not needed but its too cold for Lycra (which keeps you cool). This Fabric hates water so it always draws moisture away from the body which means it drys fast and is breathable so even when you are working hard you won't get too hot.
